I enjoyed my stay at Hotel Montaigne for its excellent location on Avenue Montaigne, close to luxury shops and major attractions. The boutique atmosphere was charming, creating a cozy vibe. However, the service left much to be desired, with the staff sometimes struggling with communication, and the lift was out of order during my visit, complicating matters a bit.

Rooms
6.0
My first room was accessible and oddly designed, featuring an open-plan shower and toilet, which caused some discomfort. The second room was more conventional and quieter, with comfortable bedding and clean sheets.
Service
5.0
While some staff were friendly, I encountered moments of unhelpfulness, like when I needed assistance for a cut I sustained from a door. The communication barrier was also evident, which added to my frustrations during my stay.
Location
9.0
The location is unbeatable, with easy access to high-end shopping and iconic Parisian attractions. It's a safe area, perfect for those wanting to explore on foot.
Dining
6.0
I noticed the breakfast area was not ideal, as tables were too small for the number of plates. The food itself, while okay, left me wanting more variety.
Facilities
5.0
The hotel itself felt a bit worn down, especially the common areas, leading to mixed feelings about the overall maintenance. The single lift being out of order was particularly inconvenient.

5.8/10

My stay at Hotel Montaigne had its highlights, especially the wonderful location on Avenue Montaigne, ideal for shopping. and the staff were generally accommodating. However, I faced challenges with the first room, which lacked privacy and had an awkward bathroom layout that led to a frustrating experience. The breakfast area was also cramped, making mornings less enjoyable than I had hoped.

Rooms
5.0
I was initially given an accessible room that I didn't request. It had a strange open-plan bathroom situation that didn't work well. After a few days, I was moved to a more suitable room, but both showed signs of wear and tear.
Service
6.0
The staff were mostly pleasant, yet some interactions were underwhelming, especially when discussing the issues I faced. I felt as if I was inconveniencing them rather than receiving the expected attentiveness.
Location
9.0
The location was fantastic, right off the Champs-Élysées and a short stroll to major attractions. perfect for immersing myself in Parisian life.
Dining
5.0
Breakfast was somewhat disappointing as the seating was quite small and not designed for ease. It felt cramped and chaotic rather than the relaxed start to my day I was hoping for.
Facilities
6.0
Although the hotel lacked a gym and had limited facilities, the intimate atmosphere of the bar area was inviting. but the broken elevator made things inconvenient.

5.6/10

I had a mixed experience during my stay at Hotel Montaigne. The location is fantastic, sitting on Avenue Montaigne, ideal for luxury shopping and close to attractions. However, I encountered some issues, particularly with the restaurant service and room amenities that didn't quite match the price I paid. It’s a charming boutique hotel, but that didn't fully compensate for the drawbacks I faced.

Rooms
7.0
I booked a Junior Suite and enjoyed the spaciousness and the small balcony overlooking the Theater des Champs Elysees. However, lack of basic items like a kettle and unresponsive safe was disappointing. The design had its quirks, like an open shower that made bathing a stressful affair.
Service
6.0
Overall, the staff were friendly and accommodating, especially Oksana at the front desk and Tam in the restaurant. However, the restaurant service left much to be desired, with slow responses that made ordering food a hassle.
Location
9.0
The location is truly excellent, right off the Champs Élysées, making it easy to access major attractions. I felt safe exploring the surrounding area, which is a big plus when visiting a new city.
Dining
5.0
I had a frustrating experience dining in the hotel restaurant. After a long wait for service, I was served bland bread with icy cold butter. While the entrees were decent, the initial service and food quality were disappointing considering the high prices.
Facilities
5.0
The hotel has a charming boutique feel but lacks certain amenities typical for luxury stays, such as a fitness room. The absence of a kettle in my room and initial lack of drinking water were less than ideal.

7.0/10

I had a mixed experience at Hotel Montaigne. The location was fantastic, with easy access to luxury shops and attractions, which I loved. However, the service fell short of my expectations; on a couple of occasions, the staff seemed overwhelmed and less helpful. The room was cozy and clean, but some features showed signs of wear and tear, which was disappointing for the price I paid.

Rooms

I stayed in a Junior Suite, which was spacious with a small balcony overlooking the Theater des Champs Elysees. Still, I noticed signs of wear in the bathroom setup, which affected my overall comfort.
Service
5.0
While Oksana at the front desk and Tam in the restaurant were fantastic, some interactions with other staff didn't meet the standard I expected for a luxury hotel.
Location
9.0
The hotel's prime location on Avenue Montaigne made it easy for me to explore nearby luxury shops and famed attractions within minutes, which was a major plus.
Dining
5.0
The breakfast service was a bit chaotic, and the food options felt limited for a hotel of this caliber. I found the bar area cozy but a bit cramped during meal times.
Facilities
5.0
Facilities were basic, lacking a gym or spa, which I would expect at a five-star hotel. Something else to note is the lift occasionally malfunctioning during my stay.

6.4/10

My stay at Hotel Montaigne had its ups and downs. The location on Avenue Montaigne was fantastic, within walking distance to many attractions and surrounded by high-end shops. However, the service left much to be desired, with a language barrier that made communication frustrating at times. The room itself was decent but had cleanliness issues, like dirty cups and a cold temperature due to malfunctioning air conditioning.

Rooms
5.0
While the room had a charming boutique feel and was well-sized for a city hotel, it had cleanliness issues. I found the air conditioning inadequate, leaving me in a cold room at times.
Service
5.0
Staff friendliness was a mixed bag. Some were accommodating, while others appeared inexperienced and unhelpful. This inconsistency made my experience more stressful, especially when I needed medical assistance.
Location
8.0
The hotel’s location is unbeatable. Just a short walk from the Eiffel Tower and Champs-Élysées, it truly made exploring Paris easy and comfortable.
Dining
6.0
The on-site restaurant offered a good menu, and I enjoyed a tasty breakfast in my room. However, some dining experiences did not meet expectations.
Facilities
5.0
Amenities like room service and housekeeping were available, but the lack of a spa or proper concierge services was disappointing. I wished for more support during my stay.
